A. PURPOSE OF THE COURSE

The Holy Bible reveals quite a good deal of information about the Kingdom of God. In Mat. 6:33, Jesus said: “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.” In many places in the Gospel, Jesus used parables to make His disciples understand the truth about the Kingdom of God. Jesus makes it clear that a disciple must mature in the knowledge of the Kingdom and bring forth “new treasures as well as old” as the owner of the house. The psalmist David proclaims, “The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all” (Psalm 103:19).  This simply means God is Sovereign over all His creation; He is the Monarch of creation, sustenance and culmination according to the supreme power in the O3 Word.

 

At Emet University, we bring home this truth by teaching our students to submit to the will of God and thereby allow Him to have total control of the believer’s life. We help the students realize that our salvation begins when we are born again into the Kingdom according to John 3:5-7.Jesus made a profound statement in Luke 17:21: “The Kingdom of God is within you.” Our world is in a terrible mess today all because we have not completely understood this simple message. Emet students will have the privilege to hear from our spiritually-seasoned faculty on how this message must be interpreted and how it should be applied in our lives.

 

We urge believers to enroll in this course to gain a complete knowledge of the Kingdom by learning to interpret Kingdom parables, understand the need to be Kingdom-focused and finally apply Kingdom principles to our lives so that we may be prepared to be received in God’s eternal Kingdom! Paul paints a picture of this consummation in Phil. 1:6 “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

E. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
