A. PURPOSE OF THE COURSE

Emet School of Geology deals with the study of the earth. ‘Geo’ means ‘earth’ and ‘ology’ means ‘study of.’ But this simple definition hides the complexity of the study. Features and structures on the earth and the processes that work on them are responsible for the minerals, precious stones, fuels, metals and construction materials found within the earth. In short, this is an exciting study! Geologists are in demand as Engineering geologist, Geochemist, Geophysicist/field seismologist, Geoscientist, Hydro-geologist which involves travelling to exotic places in the world. 


Our purpose in this course at Emet is to open-up this exciting study to entrepreneurs who are willing to explore and excavate the treasures under the earth and so enrich an impoverished nation like ours. Our students will learn the unique divine mathematics and the power of the O3 Word which are involved in the creation, sustenance and culmination of this great planet called ‘Earth’! The entire planet becomes a field of exciting exploration if geology is your major. The history of our planet is a great topic for research and discovery. A better study and understanding of the Earth’s history is important to predict how the events and processes of the past might influence the future.


We invite students and scholars in Geology to come and expand their horizon of knowledge and discover this rewarding and exciting career in Geology to make advances in this field that this nation and the whole world may be benefitted.


B. COURSE STRUCTURE

Our Geology degrees typically last for three years at undergraduate, two years at Master’s level and two years at doctorate level.

E. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum - Degree in any subject

  • Knowledge of English to read/write & speak

  • Some previous knowledge of geology is required

  • Some aptitude for learning and grasping new ideas, techniques and skills is required
